Internal communication is considered a vital tool for binding an organisation, enhancing employee morale, promoting transparency and reducing attrition.

Poor communication can negatively affect organisations both in the short and the long-term. In the short-term poor communication can:

  • Spread company misinformation.
  • Erode employee trust and confidence.
  • Create conflict between employees and management.
  • Damage the internal brand.
